Children’s Education: Key Stage 2 & 3
I am very interested in spreading the word about bees. They are fascinating creatures with a complex structure and life style however they are under treat from mankind’s activities. Even with all the information in the media the bee still has her mysteries.
Education of the young. I have a lesson plan designed for Key Stage 1 and 2 children. It is primarily based on the science curriculum. The children learn about the difference between humans and bees through dress up, puzzle play and the hive game. Key stage 2 children have the additional activity of populating a blog. This brings in IT and numeracy skills.

Adult Education: From beginners to advanced level

I have a series of 60 minute talks based around bees. The talks explains where bees come from, the make up of the hive and touches on the threats faced by bee and the possible solutions.
