Introduction to Beekeeping

This one day course is designed as an introduction to beekeeping. In the morning session we learn about:
History of Honeybees
Biology of the Honeybee
Life cycle of the honeybee

In the afternoon session we put on our bee suits and look into a hive of bees.

Practical session
We see, in action, what we learned in the morning.
Honeybees tend to be more active once the sunshine has warmed them up.
